Environmental Justice for All
The Environmental Innovations Initiative and the Penn Sustainability Office are organizing an environmental justice panel discussion to honor Martin Luther King Jr. and mark the MLK Day of Service, "Environmental Justice for All: A Panel on Current Research and More-Just Futures."
On Wednesday, January 31, from 12 noon-1 p.m., the Initiative and Penn Sustainability will bring together leading researchers across disciplines such as health, anthropology, education, and more doing work in the field of environmental justice to share their insights and foster dialogue on the current state of knowledge and what it means for a sustainable, resilient, and just future.
Where: Amado Recital Hall, Irvine Auditorium
Light refreshments will be provided.
The panel will be moderated by Benjamin Todd Jealous, Professor of Practice at the University of Pennsylvania and Executive Director of the Sierra Club.
