Dr. Weese is a veterinary internal medicine specialist and the chief of infection control at U of G's Ontario Veterinary College. The former Canada Research Chair in Zoonotic Diseases, he is an expert in infectious and parasitic animal disease. Dr. Weese also writes and speaks extensively about infections and zoonotic diseases, particularly on his Worms and Germs blog.
