Centering Joy and Wonder in the Climate Movement: An Experiential Workshop with Jeff Golden
Join the Environmental Innovations Initiative, co-sponsored with the Penn Spiritual and Religious Life Center and Penn Wellness, for an experiential workshop featuring Jeff Golden.

What if the path to solving the climate crisis also lead to a richer, more meaningful life?
In this 90-minute interactive workshop, award-winning author Jeff Golden explores why happiness has been declining for decades - and how reconnecting with presence, purpose, and community can help us heal both ourselves and the planet. All are welcome.
Jeff Golden, M.Ed., is the author of Reclaiming the Sacred, named Best Environmental Book of 2023 by IndieReader, and winner of the Nautilus Grand Prize (previous winners include the Dalai Lama, Brené Brown, and Barbara Kingsolver).
Jeff has written and taught about these topics for over thirty years, most recently as a scholar-in-residence at Vassar College. He was a Fulbright Scholar in sustainable development, he was awarded the US State Department’s Millennium International Volunteer Award, and he has headed several nonprofits dedicated to the environment and social justice.
