The conference gathered students, educators, and sustainability professionals from across the U.S. and Canada to share strategies for advancing sustainability in higher education. Highlights included a powerful keynote by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, and the sessions focused on themes such as reimagining growth and progress through a sustainability lens, fostering meaningful student engagement without burnout, and using campus landscapes and classrooms alike as sites for ecological education and climate resilience. The conference also provided valuable opportunities to network with peers and exchange ideas for creating more just, resilient, and sustainable campuses.
