Academic Consortium for Climate, Environment, and Sustainability Solutions

This group of peer higher-ed institutions was established in 2023 to create a community of practice and elevate the contributions of academia in supporting climate change and environmental solutions.

Convened by EII and the Water Center at Penn, this group aims to foster community and collaboration and strengthen partnerships among environmental centers across Penn while advancing the University’s In Principle and Practice vision and Climate and Sustainability Action Plan 4.0 goals. Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee Academic Subcommittee

Chaired by EII Faculty Director Kathy Morrison and Staff Director Katie Unger Baillie, this subcommittee is charged with advising and providing recommendations to the University on the implementation of the Academic goals articulated in Penn’s Climate and Sustainability Action Plan 4.0.
