Penn experts are studying the impacts of extreme heat and developing strategies to mitigate its effects, especially for communities near Philadelphia. EII convened on November 26, 2024 a meeting to foster interconnections and identify shared interests, aiming to promote potential collaborations and transdisciplinary grant proposals focused on extreme heat.

Penn Action CAFÉ Workshop on Climate Change

EII hosted a workshop to help researchers navigate the process of developing collaborative grant proposals for climate change research on June 12, 2024. Open to all Penn students, postdocs, and faculty, participants learned from experts with experience in securing collaborative funding.
