Spring Water Policy Forum
The Water Center at Penn is excited to invite you to our Second Annual Spring Water Policy Forum. This year’s Forum, Navigating Turbulent Waters: Managing the Compounding Water System Challenges Facing Local Leaders in the Northeast Mega Region, will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the complex and overlapping challenges facing water systems across our region.

Local leaders across the Northeast MegaRegion (which we are broadly defining to include the Hudson, Delaware, and Chesapeake Watersheds) are grappling with compunding challenges such as climate change, affordability, aging infrastructure, emerging contaminants, and shifting state and federal policies. At the same time, local and regional leaders must move their water systems forward, continuing to make progress in the face of strong headwinds. As we address these issues, understanding where opportunities lie and how we prioritize challenges is critical for continued progress.
Following the formal program, we invite you to stay for a networking lunch, where students and attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with influential leaders from across the water sector — from public utilities to private industry and advocacy organizations.
Registration closes on Sunday, March 30th and is free for students.
